Fits my just turned 5 year old just fine, October 16, 2011 By Florida Phil (Florida) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Mongoose Boy's Showtime Bicycle (Blue/Orange) (Sports) Bike came in a few different pieces - not too bad on the assembly front. Anyone who has tinkered with a bike before should be able to put it together just fine with some simple tools - box end wrench/adjustable wrench. I didn't even need the instructions (they kind of stunk anyway) This bike fit my 5 year old boy just fine. He is of average height and just turned 5 - it was for his birthday. He loved it by the way. You'll probably need a pump to pump the tires. They were nearly flat when they arrived, which is to be expected on kids' bikes.

In our situation, the bike was actually missing the seat and the part(s) required to attach the handlebar to the stem. Also, the bike was scuffed up. Discovering this on Christmas Eve was no fun. I would suggest that you purchase a different bike and save yourself a lot of trouble. We will be returning ours.
